Overview
Your role as a Business Development Manager is to leverage your in-depth lending experience to grow market share by building strong, long-lasting relationships with the local community. You will develop tailored lending solutions that meet customer needs and become the go-to expert in the area, driving new business and expanding your network to impact business growth and the local community.
In this dynamic and high-impact role, you'll make your mark by:
* Proactively building a strong pipeline by identifying new opportunities, establishing referral partnerships, and acquiring new customers through strategic networking
* Guiding customers through the lending process, providing confidence and peace of mind as you help them achieve their financial goals
* Strengthening your community presence by building your personal brand, nurturing and leveraging existing Community Bank relationships, and expanding your network through local events
* Leveraging credit analysis expertise and understanding of customer needs to ensure positive lending outcomes
* Developing lasting relationships within the community, positioning yourself as a trusted lending expert ready to support customers' needs
* Being a lifelong learner with on-the-job training and other learning opportunities
* Building connections and contributing to community well-being while providing excellent customer service
This is a permanent, full-time position located at the Community Bank in Northern Gold Coast, QLD.
What you'll bring to the role
To succeed, you'll drive lending growth by building strong relationships, acquiring new business and becoming the go-to lending expert in the area. We'd love you to have:
* Extensive consumer lending experience
* Strong networks and a proven ability to self-generate new business opportunities
* High level of understanding of lending products, policies and regulations
* Ability to build relationships and rapport with customers and colleagues quickly, assess needs and develop a holistic view of their situation
* Highly developed credit analysis skills
* Understanding of small business offerings
* A self-motivated, high performing approach, with a proven track record of delivering lending growth
