Community Support Worker, Nambucca Heads and Macksville, NSW
Permanent or part‐time position in the Nambucca Heads and Macksville region. The role is part of a local family‐owned business offering support services including nursing, disability, aged care and respite care. We focus on assisting clients and their families to meet their unique goals, promote independence, and support their choices.
Responsibilities
* Provide personal care
* Assist with community access and transportation
* Deliver respite care, domestic assistance, and medication assistance
* Prepare meals, assist with shopping and perform welfare checks
* Document client progress and reports
* Support clients with NDIS and aged care arrangements to achieve short‐term and long‐term goals
Qualifications
* NDIS worker check
* Current first aid/CPR certification
* Valid driver's licence and insured car
* Certificate III in Individual Support, Disabilities, Aged Care or Community Services, or equivalent
* Previous experience in disability or aged care sector
* Excellent written and oral communication skills (English)
* Team player with ability to work flexible roster
