The primary role of the Practice Development Nurse (PDN) is to support clinical nurses through facilitation, collaboration and leadership to develop knowledge and skills required to achieve optimal patient outcomes. This is including First Year Graduate Programs. The role will see the successful applicant provide orientation and support for new nursing staff according to the Orientation program and provide clinical leadership for nursing practice. This position will report directly to the Education Manager - Learning and Development. About You Minimum of 3 years' experience working in clinical nursing Registered Nurse with tertiary qualification in speciality area (preferred) Ability to work collaboratively and cohesively with colleagues, supervisors and other stakeholders. Closing Date: Sunday 8 June 2025 Proposed Interview Date: Week commencing Monday 9 June 2025 The successful applicant will hold, or be able to obtain, a current National Criminal Police Check. Dependant on your position you may be required to obtain a Working with Children Check Clearance, Disability Worker Exclusion Scheme check and / or NDIS Worker Screening Check. All successful applicants are to comply with WDHS immunisation and vaccination requirements.
