Gladstone Hospital is a 70-bed hospital and offers a range of general and specialist inpatient and outpatient services including emergency, general medicine and surgery, basic orthopaedic, clinical investigation, obstetrics, maternity, gynaecology, high dependency and coronary care, palliative care, medical imaging, pathology and paediatrics.
About the role:
The Gladstone Hospital General Maintenance positions assist in maintaining the buildings, plant, equipment and essential services in Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service - Gladstone Hub in a safe, reliable, and efficient state. You will maintain cleanliness of areas such as the workshop, plant and equipment, plant and equipment storage areas, car parks and surrounds.
About you:
Demonstrated ability to perform a wide range of general maintenance and minor repair tasks relevant to the maintenance of a complex facility both safely and effectively.
High level of fitness, health and wellbeing to enable safe bending, lifting, other movements and postures associated with labour intensive tasks and moving equipment.
Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, with minimal supervision, as well as the ability to work harmoniously in a team environment.
What we offer:
An hourly rate between $ $44.57 p.h. (including 25% casual loading)
