ABOUT THE ROLE As a Feeding & Milling Hand at the Pinegrove Feedlot, you will play a key role in the successful operation of the feedmill and the delivery of quality rations to livestock. The key responsible are: Obtaining regular flake samples to ensure quality metrics align with nutritional standards; Undertaking general repairs and maintenance to milling infrastructure (greasing, hanger bearing and minor maintenance repairs); Undertaking ration sample collection and data entry Feed truck operation and ancillary supporting equipment; Loader operation for batching and commodity operations; Heavy equipment operator (hay processing). ABOUT YOU To be successful in this role, you will bring Experience operating heavy machinery (Loaders, Trucks, hay processing etc. Demonstrated skill, ability and experience in batching accuracy, liquid storages and dispensing, feed accuracy and consistency A focus on working safely An ability to work cooperatively with a team Demonstrated effective verbal and two way communication WHY WORK WITH US?
