Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF) is an organisation using light aircraft to deliver help, hope and healing through aviation in over 30 developing countries. For more than 75 years, MAF has transported patients, relief workers, produce and medical supplies to remote regions. One of these places is Arnhem Land, a vast wilderness area in the Northern Territory of Australia. MAF has served Arnhem Land for over 45 years by sharing God’s love through aviation and technology. To continue enabling our service in Arnhem Land we require an experienced Facilities Manager.

Responsibilities
- Coordinating maintenance across 20 houses and 2 hangars.
- Looking after all MAF office spaces and work areas.
- Managing vehicles (except aircraft) to keep them road-ready and reliable.
- Overseeing contractors, volunteers, and the occasional enthusiastic DIYer.
- Ensuring everything meets safety standards and local regulations.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- A building trade qualification and current licences.
- At least 3 years’ experience in your licensed building trade.
- At least 2 years of building project management experience.
- Cross-cultural experience, with a heart for serving in diverse settings.
- Willingness to travel and temporarily live in Aboriginal communities, engaging with respect and sensitivity toward Aboriginal culture.
