The role
Afea Care Services is a leading Home and Disability Services Care provider under both the NDIS and Home Care Packages schemes. We offer services from Home Care support, Support Independent Living, Support Coordinator, Plan Management, and Nursing Care to individuals living with a disability or in aged care.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with the activities of daily living namely feeding, bathing, dressing, transferring, toileting, and mobility in a safe and competent manner of care and skill.
- Providing one on one support to elderly or clients with disabilities such as physical, intellectual, neurological, acquired brain injury, or psychosocial in the comfort of their own home.
- Building genuine rapport with clients, providing companionship, and transportation for medical appointments or outings.
- Collaborating with the client, care coordinator, care manager and other relevant parties to help achieve the client's goal.
- Engaging and interacting with clients from all diverse cultures and backgrounds.
Qualifications
- Cert III in Individual Support (Ageing or Disability) or Equivalent.
- NDIS Worker Check (NDISWC).
- WWCC (if willing to work with children).
- First Aid Certificate.
- COVID-19 Vaccine Certificate.
- Working rights.
Location
You may find yourself working in various locations such as Sefton, Moorebank, Lurnea, etc. Please ensure that you will be able to reliably commute to these areas for work.

Work Details
Job Type: Casual
Salary: Up to $37.50 per hour
- Schedule: Afternoon, Day, Evening, Morning, Night shifts.
- Supplemental pay types: Overtime pay, Penalty rates.
