The role
In this role you will be making a real impact by helping people with disabilities through accommodation support. We are all about personalised and people-focused support, teaming up with our customers to help them unleash their full potential. We currently have a permanent overnight sleep shift vacancy in South Lake. With 7 shifts a fortnight, including a weekend, hours range from the earliest start of 3pm to the latest finish of 9am (9 hours worked, broken by an onsite 8-hour sleep period).

Responsibilities
* Supporting person-centred plans that identify a customer\'s life goals and working to achieve them
* Supporting customers in daily living skills such as meal preparation, housekeeping, health and hygiene, medication administration and attending appointments
* Ensuring positive behaviour support plans are followed
* Administration duties and mandatory daily reports
Qualifications and ideal candidate
* Cert III in Individual Support (CHC33015 or CHC33021) – essential
* Experience working with dementia and high behaviours
* Passion for providing service and assistance and helping others live their best lives
* Previous experience or willingness to train in manual handling and medication administration
* Willingness to assist with personal care for any gender (showering, toileting) and domestic duties (meal preparation, housekeeping)
* Proven administration and computer literacy skills
* Availability to work one of the included roster patterns
* Willingness to use your fully insured and registered private vehicle (aligned with Activ's motor vehicle allowance rebate)

* National Police Clearance (at our cost)
