Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a
Qualified Shopfitter
located in Melbourne, VIC. The Shopfitter will be responsible for installing and assembling shop fittings, carrying out renovations, undertaking defit and strip out tasks, and ensuring a high level of workmanship. Daily tasks will include interpreting design plans, measuring and cutting materials, and liaising with clients and other trades to ensure projects are completed on time and to specifications.
This role requires flexibility to travel interstate for short periods as needed.
Qualifications
* Experience in shopfitting, defit, and commercial strip out
* Strong skills in measuring, cutting, and assembling materials
* Ability to interpret design plans and specifications
* Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
* Ability to work collaboratively with clients and other trades
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
* Relevant certifications and trade qualifications
* Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites as needed
