Our Contract Desks are all in hot markets focusing on placing White Collar Freelancers/Contractors across Power, Renewables, Infrastructure and Sustainability.We are seeking an experienced Team Manager to lead our contracting recruitment team in Perth. This role is suited to a motivated leader with a strong contract (placing technical freelancers or contractors) recruitment background and a passion for team development and business growth.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead, mentor, and develop a team of 2+ recruitment 360 consultants, identifying and nurturing talent.Oversee the training and progression of trainee consultants, consultants, and principal Consultants.Conduct performance reviews and implement strategies to enhance team productivity.Develop new clients and business, and manage candidate sourcing, and delivery to hit the individual billing target.Pitch and present recruitment solutions to clients (new and existing), negotiating contracts and feesBuild and maintain strong relationships with senior management, clients, and candidates.Driving margin, contract length, and NFI.Resolve complex issues involving clients and candidates on behalf of junior team members.Role Model best practice to contribute and embed an office wide high performing Sales Culture
Essential Skills & ExperienceMinimum 4 years' experience in a recruitment AGENCY environment, NOT inhouse or talent acquisition or RPO.Minimum 2 years' experience in a 360 or key accounts role (Client and candidate facing, inc New Business Development,/Account Expansion Strategy, Head Hunting and Market Mapping), NOT delivery.Minimum 1 year' experience in people management.Experience within Power, Renewables, Infrastructure and Sustainability is desirable, but a growth mindset and passion to learn is a must. if in an adjacent induatry you must be placing white collar and/or technical contract roles.Proven track record in managing client relationships and achieving revenue targets and objectives.Individual who possesses strong commercial acumen.Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Experience managing teams and handling negotiations.Professional business English speaking/writing is required for the role.
