We are seeking a highly skilled Accountant to join our team. As an integral part of our Private Business & Family Advisory group, you will work closely with a diverse range of clients and be part of a dynamic, collaborative environment.
Main Responsibilities:
* Prepare and be involved in complex accounting and taxation engagements
* Be a primary point of contact for clients, ensuring consistency in exceptional client service
* Collaborate as part of a team, working with Managers and Partners towards client success
The ideal candidate will be degree-qualified and working towards their CA/CPA qualification. They will have relevant expertise as an Accountant in a business advisory environment, possessing the following skills:
* Ability to understand client needs and exhibit high levels of client service
* Experience with preparing GST, FBT and payroll tax returns
* Experience with most aspects of accounting and tax compliance, including preparation of financial statements, tax reconciliations, income tax returns and tax effect accounting for companies, trusts and tax consolidated groups
* Proficiency in using common client accounting software packages (i.e., MYOB and Xero), and larger enterprise products
* Well-refined oral and written communication skills
* Comprehensive Microsoft Excel skills and ability to efficiently work with large datasets
* Adaptability to engage a wide range of growing clients
* Ability to work well under pressure and manage competing priorities
* Ability to integrate with the team and collaborate effectively
