Responsibilities of the Site Quality Manager
- Collaborate with the site installation team to ensure work is done safely, according to quality standards, customer requirements, schedule, and budget
- Ensure all QA/QC inspections and testing are performed as per the Quality Plan and assist with inspections according to Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs); coordinate tests with specialized service providers (e.g., NDTs)
- Conduct site audits and inspections
- Develop and implement the site quality plan aligned with the contract and company policies; promote a commitment to quality within the site team
- Apply knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and customer regulatory requirements
Relevant Experience Required
- University degree in QA/QC and certification as per quality standards
- Qualifications in welding inspection (e.g., AWS/ASNT certifications, CSWIP or similar)
- Previous experience in a senior or management-level position
- Strong knowledge of welding processes, codes, standards, and best practices; IWE qualification preferred
- Proven experience working with QA/QC systems aligned with ISO 9001
- Experience in hydro power plant construction projects or the oil and gas sector
