After School Care Support Associate
Job Overview:
The ideal candidate for this role will be responsible for providing routine support to the OSHC supervisor, assisting with communication between staff and parents, and maintaining a safe and nurturing environment for students.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provides essential support to the OSHC team on a daily basis
* Supports communication between staff and parents regarding student needs and progress
* Communicates with staff on routine matters related to students' welfare and other responsibilities
* Ensures students receive basic care and wellbeing support, including toileting, meals, and lifting when necessary
* Communicates effectively with students to support their understanding of tasks and information
* Addresses immediate behavioural concerns related to specific students within an OSHC setting aligned to school policy and procedure
* Provides medical intervention support to students under specific conditions, with appropriate training and guidance
* Maintains cleanliness and hygiene standards in food preparation and serving areas, adhering to relevant guidelines and regulations
Requirements:
* Aptitude, experience, or qualifications that enable fulfillment of position requirements
* Demonstrated ability to perform duties consistent with established guidelines and frameworks
* Capacity to work collaboratively with others in a team environment
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
