The role overviewI am looking for a talented and dedicated accountant looking for an exciting opportunity to grow their career within a public practice firm based in Strathfield. Reporting to the Principal accountant, you will play a key role with providing services to your portfolio of clients both local and corporate.
Key responsibilities
* Perform a range of accounting tasks, including but not limited to bookkeeping, financial statement preparation, and reconciliations.
* Assist with tax planning, preparation, and compliance for individuals and businesses.
* Conduct financial analysis and reporting to support decision-making processes.
* Provide exceptional client service and build strong relationships with clients.
* Stay updated on accounting standards, regulations, and industry trends to ensure compliance and best practices.
To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate previous experience as per the following:
* Proficient in both Cantonese and Mandarin speaking desirable
* Bachelor's degree within Accounting
* CPA or part qualified desirable
* 1-2 years in public practice experience.
* Proficiency in accounting software such as Handiledgers, Xero and Microsoft Excel.
* Strong analytic skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to multitask, work well under pressure, and meet deadlines.
