You'll be working at Clarence Correctional Centre, helping inmates prepare for reintegration into society.ResponsibilitiesSupervise and manage inmates while promoting rehabilitation and reintegrationConduct searches, monitor inmate activities, and maintain a structured, secure environmentUse communication and problem-solving skills to defuse tense situations and maintain orderWork closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure inmate welfareQualifications and requirementsWillingness to complete Certificate III in Correctional Practice (fully funded)Strong communication, empathy, and resilienceAbility to stay calm under pressure and solve problems with sound judgmentPhysical fitness to meet role demandsA valid Driver's LicenceAs this is a position of trust, shortlisted candidates will undergo a Police Check and full probity assessment.Are you ready to do important work that really matters?
