Job Description



Looking for General Hand To meet our customers’ expectations by completing finishing processes for Redback Drilling Tools, pressure control components and performing repairs. Where reasonably practicable to undertake any special projects as requested, from time to time, by the Plant Supervisor.

Your key responsibilities in this role will include but are not limited to:

* Forklift driving.
* Painting and finishing of manufactured products and tools to meet internal and specific customer standards.
* Operation of saws in accordance with material requisition instructions.
* Assembly and packaging of redress kits.
* Stock control, reporting and assembly checklists.
* Deliveries and pick ups in the company vehicle(s).
* Chemical plating.
* Packaging and marking up of products for transport customer delivery.
* Maintain accurate records in accordance with our Quality Management System and corporate policies, including timekeeping.
* Communication and collaboration with our our maintenance, yard, welding and quality teams to assure quality products are produced every time.
* Must participate in annual stocktake as and when required by plant manager.
* Travel to our sites and provision of direct assistance as required.


Qualifications

* Must hold a current and valid driver’s licence
* Must hold a current and valid forklift licence
* Minimum of two years’ experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment (desirable)
* Toolmaking experience is desirable
* Physically fit to meet the demands of the role
