Plumbing and Pipeline Solutions requires a Part-Time (Minimum 30 hours per week) Accountant/Bookkeeper to be responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting functions and work with the Administration team.
Main Responsibilities
- Profit & loss, balance sheet, cash flow monthly reporting and budgets
- Monthly PAYG / quarterly BAS
- Processing payroll and monthly analysis
- Oversee management of Simpro job management software
- Assist and liaise with external accountant, insurance broker, key suppliers and customers
- Monthly management meeting and minutes
- Accounting journals and reconciliations
- Employment and other grants
- Depreciation and asset reconciliation
- Bonus scheme
- Bank reconciliations, bank guarantees / retention of funds
- Booking airfares and accommodation
- Job costings and internal allocations
- Employment related returns including: superannuation, payroll tax, Workcover and LSL
Essential Experience / Qualifications / Attributes
- Minimum of 3 years previous experience in a similar role
- Accounting Qualifications preferred
- Experience in Simpro job management software and advantage
- A ‘nothing is too much trouble’ attitude
- Solid computer software skills including MYOB
- Attention to detail and be self-directed
- Able to work as part of an administration team and assist with all aspects
A pay rate commensurate with skills and experience will be offered to the successful candidate.
