Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Timber Technician, based in Mackay, QLD, with opportunities to work from home intermittently. The Timber Technician will conduct inspections, assess and treat timber structures for pest damage, implement pest control solutions, and prepare detailed reports. Other responsibilities include communicating with clients, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards, and contributing to preventive maintenance initiatives.
Qualifications
* Knowledge of termite control, pest management, and timber inspection processes
* Proficiency in technical reporting, laboratory result interpretation, and documentation
* Skills in client communication, problem-solving, and building customer relationships
* Understanding of workplace safety, environmental compliance, and preventive solutions
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment
* Relevant certifications or licenses in pest control or timber inspection are desirable
* Experience in the cleaning services sector or similar industries is an advantage
* Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally for on-site inspections
