About this role
We currently have an opportunity for an experienced, enthusiastic & dynamic Theatre Technician for a part-time role (Mon, Wed and Fri).
Key responsibilities include:
* Support nursing team with patient positioning
* Assist in preparation and cleaning of theatre environment
* Set up and restock of recovery areas
* Assist with movement of sterile and non-sterile equipment and supplies
* Support staff in handling and disposal of clinical waste
* Maintain cleanliness and readiness of all perioperative areas
* Participate in cleaning and turnover between cases and end-of-day procedures
* Assist with deliveries and distribution of stock, linen and equipment
You will bring:
* Previous experience as a Theatre Technician, Orderly or Support Officer in a perioperative or hospital setting desirable
* Knowledge of infection control and manual handling practices
About you:
You will be an enthusiastic individual with a 'can do' attitude and a collaborative mindset. You will bring knowledge and experience in technical clinical support as well as a commitment to continuous quality improvement with a passion for customer service.
