About You
As a History/Geography Teacher, you will inspire students through engaging, student-centered teaching within a Catholic learning environment. You'll bring:
* a commitment to the Catholic ethos of the College, the Catholic Church and the wellbeing of all community members
* demonstrated knowledge and understanding of contemporary pedagogical practices
* ability to create and implement engaging, rigorous planned learning experiences catering to the diverse needs of students
* a tertiary qualification in Education & NESA accreditation in History/Geography. The ability to teach Religious Education is advantageous
* a commitment to academic excellence
* formative and summative assessments to drive student progress
* a data-informed approach to setting challenging learning objectives and providing constructive feedback
* excellent classroom management skills focused on student well-being
* ability to integrate technology to enhance contemporary learning experiences
* interpersonal and effective communication skills to work with parents, students, staff and employers to support work placement, and opportunities in apprenticeships and traineeships
* demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative team.
