Job Summary:
A bookkeeper position has become available to manage the financial transactions of a business.
* Process and reconcile bank and merchant statements
* Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and payment tracking
* Perform end-of-month reconciliations and journals to ensure accurate financial records
* Process payroll and maintain employee records
* Coordinate superannuation management and general office duties
Key Responsibilities:
* Receive and process credit applications, maintaining confidentiality and accuracy
* Deliver Fair Work guidelines and employment contracts to employees
* Utilize Xero, Lightyear, or Vinsight software to manage financial tasks
Requirements:
* At least 2-5 years of experience in hands-on accounting with an accountant or general manager
* Possession of a Certificate IV in Accounting or higher qualification
* Proficiency in payroll processing and knowledge of Australian Taxation Office regulations
