About The Opportunity
We're excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our
Kurrajong Therapy Plus Team
in a
full-time position
.

This role operates
Monday to Friday, from 8:00am to 4:06pm
, providing high-quality intake, NDIS Plan interpretation, onboarding and service coordination activities for clients entering Therapy Plus.

The
Client Intake Officer
, acts as a central coordination point for families, referrers and internal teams, ensuring a smooth, timely and professional onboarding experience while also providing senior administrative oversight to intake and onboarding processes, that support effective service delivery.

The Client Intake Officer's Responsibilities Will Include

* Being the first point of contact for all Therapy Plus enquiries and providing clear information regarding services.
* Determine suitability and eligibility for Therapy Plus services.
* Identify risk indicators and escalate concerns appropriately.
* Monitor/maintain waitlists and appointments accordingly.
* Onboarding of Participant reports and documents.
* Understanding of NDIS Plans and being able to interpret them to support goals, budgets and support categories to determine if Kurrajong can help.
* Assist Therapist's to develop schedules for participants.
* Ensure clients understand service agreements.
* Coordinate client intake and scheduling by liaising with therapists and managers, managing capacity requests, updating families, and handling all appointment and travel processes.
* Maintain accurate client records and NDIS plan details across systems, ensuring compliance and supporting billing, reporting, and funding transitions.
* Manage financial administration and purchasing, including invoicing, reconciliations, petty cash, end-of-month reporting, and oversight of office supplies and mail logistics.
* Deliver professional client communication and reception services, keeping families informed throughout onboarding and coordinating information sharing with therapists and managers.
* Maintain a welcoming environment and coordinate facility upkeep, including monitoring vehicle rosters and directing maintenance requests.
* Ensure compliance with NDIS pricing rules and Kurrajong policies, maintain confidentiality, and support quality and safeguarding standards.

Qualifications, Certificates & Licences:

* Relevant qualifications in community services, or similar (desirable).
* Class C Drivers Licence.
* NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).
* Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain).

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

* Strong understanding of the NDIS, price guide and support categories.
* Experience in intake, customer service or roles in health/disability settings.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with sensitivity.
* Strong organisational and time-management skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital systems.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
* Ability to interpret NDIS plans and apply budgets accurately.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and work within compliance frameworks.

Remuneration
This position is remunerated between $70,000 & $76,000 + Annual Leave Loading + Salary Packaging and Superannuation.
