Job Overview
Establish a highly successful sales leadership role within the Sydney region covering NSW and QLD. This position involves leading the growth of Bio-Rad’s Clinical Diagnostics portfolio by identifying opportunities, planning strategically, and driving sales targets.
The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for:
* Establishing and achieving annual sales and profit targets in collaboration with the National Sales Manager
* Monitoring and controlling selling and other expenses for the group
* Preparing accurate fortnightly and monthly sales forecasts for submission to the National Sales Manager
* Influencing and coaching individuals to meet agreed targets and objectives for the region
* Managing Account Managers to ensure adherence to sales forecasts and focus on areas for growth
* Working with Account Managers to optimize the utilization of all sales resources
* Recruiting, training, supervising, remunerating, and separating sales team staff
* Implementing the Performance Management Program effectively
* Supervising, managing, motivating staff to build a strong cohesive team
Requirements
To succeed in this role, applicants must have:
• Minimum 5 years proven experience in sales and marketing in the Clinical and/or Life Sciences Industries
• Experience working in a matrix organization
• Minimum of 2 years direct line management experience
• Ability to prepare, implement, and monitor business/marketing plans
• Strong business acumen

• Degree qualified in Science
