We’re looking for a driven and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join our Australian Operations team in Adelaide. Reporting to the Commercial Manager – Operations, this role is central to delivering financial insights that drive operational efficiency, cost control, and profitability across our Packaging and Medical manufacturing divisions.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead the preparation and delivery of accurate and insightful financial reports for Australian Operations
* Perform detailed manufacturing cost accounting, including variance analysis and reporting
* Drive budgeting and cost roll processes, ensuring alignment with operational goals
* Mentor and support a Junior Management Accountant, fostering growth and capability
* Ensure tight cost control and compliance with company policies and authority levels
* Collaborate with production teams to interpret factory performance and identify improvement opportunities
* Support engineering project reporting and intercompany invoicing
* Champion continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to CIP reporting
* Educate frontline managers on financial drivers and cost management strategies
What You’ll Bring
* Tertiary qualifications in Finance or Accounting, or equivalent commercial experience in manufacturing
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP systems
* Proven ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
* Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset
* A high level of personal integrity and accountability
* Previous experience in manufacturing or cost accounting is highly desirable
