Job Description
As a Sustainability Practitioner, you will play a key role in promoting and preserving healthy communities and a sustainable environment.
* Investigate public health and environmental risks, including food safety and nuisances, to ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
* Conduct site inspections and audits to identify areas of improvement and ensure the community remains safe and healthy.
* Respond to emergencies, such as asbestos exposure incidents, and coordinate decontamination efforts to minimize risk.
* Provide expert advice and guidance on public health matters for events and applications, ensuring that all necessary protocols are followed.
* Develop and implement policies and programs aimed at promoting community health and education.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills are essential for this role, as well as physical agility and the ability to lift heavy objects.
