Deliver projects across the building and infrastructure sectors, while being mentored by a great senior team comprising Principals, Associate & Technical Directors.Role accountabilitiesDelivery of full structural design on significant building projects in the transport, education, commercial, defence and retail sectorsManaging selected projects (or components of projects), assuming responsibility for resource allocation and management, and ensuring the integrity of the overall design (in collaboration with other design disciplines)Managing packages (or part packages) of work in re-development and upgrade of existing buildings, new builds and complex structuresWorking in collaboration with other design teams and disciplines to ensure the integrity of the overall designCollaborating with other teams in a complex, multi-disciplinary environmentReviewing and ensuring compliance in components of projects including drawings, reports, and specificationsMaking valuable contributions to our projects through innovation and technical solutions.Qualifications & ExperienceSignificant experience using ETABs, RAPT and SPACEGASS (or similar) Design Software, additional demonstration of other program knowledge would be useful as would familiarity with Revit and AutoCADUnderstanding of commercial matters with some degree of business acumenAbility to think creatively in an innovative and entrepreneurial mannerDemonstrated experience as a strong team player, invested in projects and outcomes and able to contribute to, and lead small teams and groups of people as requiredRecognized experience in delivery (or part delivery) of medium to large scale projects to clients through all project phasesEngineering degree, Chartership advantageous.Our Commitment to Equality, Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging We want you to be able to bring your best self to work every day which is why we take equality and inclusion seriously and hold ourselves to account for our actions.
