They are currently seeking a motivated and driven account manager with a focus on business development to join their team. The role has a core emphasis on converting warm leads via referrals, websites and general enquiries, with a genuine hunger to expand their client base and secure new sales.
About the role:
* Generate new business by creating and converting qualified leads.
* Conduct follow-ups with existing customers and suppliers, identifying cross-selling and upselling opportunities.
* Develop and execute a strategic sale and account management plan for your territory
* Proven experience in estimating and generating customer quotes and/or sales within the glazing or construction industry.
About you:
* Strong ability to build & develop client relationships and communicate effectively
* Autonomous worker who has solid time management and follow up skills
* Excellent mathematical and analytical skills to accurately calculate material and labour costs
* Ability to quote and understand how to measure technical specifications
* Previous experience working within the Glazier, Commercial & Residential Builders, Architects, Local & State Government entities would be highly regarded as would a Technical or Trade Qualification.
