Overview
Michael Page is pleased to partner exclusively with a purpose-driven organisation and is seeking a Payroll Project Specialist. You'll play a key role in supporting payroll remediation activities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and improvements in processes and systems. This role is offered on a remote basis, providing flexibility while contributing to meaningful transformation work.
Responsibilities
Assisting with the finalisation and validation of long service leave entitlements.
Supporting remediation activities, including correction of balances and back payment processing.
Preparing reports, data, and recommendations for payroll and system managers.
Contributing to payroll compliance initiatives and supporting Fair Work / Industrial Relations requirements.
Assisting with process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency in payroll operations.
Working within project frameworks (PMO) to ensure successful delivery of payroll transformation initiatives.
Collaborating across HR and Payroll projects to ensure end-to-end service delivery.
Qualifications
Proven experience in payroll projects, ideally in remediation, compliance, or leave management.
Strong knowledge of payroll systems, entitlements, and Australian legislation.
Experience working in project environments, including reporting and documentation.
Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work remotely while collaborating effectively with key stakeholders.
