**Your new role**
You will join a high-performing team in a leadership capacity to provide expert advice and guidance around F5 platforms, provisioning robust gateway infrastructure capabilities ensuring the security of the day-to-day operations. As an F5 Specialists, you will exercise a considerable degree of independence, with decision-making substantially dependent on their high-level judgement and consideration of wider agency implications. You will also be working with Senior stakeholders and third parties as an SME to drive innovation, changes in workplace practices and organise work in the context of competing priorities and strategic direction.
**What you'll need to succeed**
To be a successfully F5 Specialist, you will have:
- Experience with technologies including F5, AWAF, Web Proxies, Linux Administration.
- The ability to plan and manage infrastructure requirements to meet future infrastructure demand.
- Experience defining effective procedures for prioritisation and escalation of infrastructure issues to ensure timely resolution communicate end-to-end implications of configuration changes.
- Experience developing and implementing standards, strategies, operational policy, and procedures and change initiatives.
