As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing best delivery outcomes for customers and controlling deliveries on a daily and weekly basis.
The ideal candidate will possess scheduling and transport allocation experience, intermediate computer skills, excellent customer service skills, strong communication and time management skills, HSE understanding, and load restraint understanding.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing cost-efficient and effective allocation of equipment to achieve daily work requirements.
* Instructing drivers on loading procedures, ensuring safe and secure methods are used.
* Monitoring pickups and deliveries, promptly advising customers and relevant personnel of any issues.
* Ensuring equipment is available and in good condition, organising backloads to maximise profit, and communicating with customers regarding delays.
