About the Role
People Management (Support Staff), with the guidance of the Principal - Workforce Coordination.
Organising teacher aides, cleaners, admin staff and relief staff
Fixing gaps when someone is sick
Supporting injured staff back to work
Inducting new employees so they don't feel lost
Noticing workload pressure before burnout occurs
Raising performance concerns early (so they don't become serious)
You become the first line of support before issues reach leadership.
Compliance & Risk, with the guidance of the Principal - preventing the school from accidentally breaking rules.
Blue Cards
Training currency (anaphylaxis, CPR, mandatory reporting etc.)
Workplace safety processes
Department procedures
Privacy and record keeping
You are essentially the school's risk control system.
Workforce & Staffing Operations, with the guidance of the Principal - you are the scheduler of reality
Replacement staff bookings
Tracking staff availability
Leave balances
Timesheets
ADOs
Staffing data accuracy
You make sure there is always an adult in front of students.
Finance & Resource Management, with the guidance of the Principal - operational financial stewardship.
