About the role
Coastal Truck Services' is seeking a skilled Welder Fabricator to join our team in Warnervale, NSW. As a Welder Fabricator, you will play a crucial role in our Trades & Services operations, contributing to the fabrication and maintenance of essential transport infrastructure. This is a full-time position, offering competitive remuneration and the opportunity to work with a dynamic, supportive team.
What you'll be doing
* Performing welding tasks to the highest standards, using a variety of welding techniques and equipment
* Fabricating, repairing and maintaining metal structures, components and equipment
* Reading and interpreting technical drawings, diagrams and specifications
* Collaborating with the wider team to ensure the timely completion of projects
* Adhering to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment
* Continuously improving your skills and techniques to stay up-to-date with industry best practices
What we're looking for
* Formal qualifications in Welding or a related Trades discipline highly regarded
* Extensive experience as a Welder Fabricator, with a strong understanding of welding techniques and fabrication processes in a mechanical or industrial setting.
* Heavy vehicle license highly regarded
* A proactive, collaborative approach and a commitment to workplace safety
* The ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
* Proficiency in operating welding machines, grinders, and hand tools.
* Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
