Define Fire Protection Engineering Strategy
We are seeking an accomplished Senior Fire Protection Engineer to lead a high-performing team within our dynamic Building Services division. As a key member of our multidisciplinary projects, you will be responsible for driving excellence and fostering growth opportunities for junior engineers.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute fire protection design strategies ensuring compliance with technical, commercial, safety, and regulatory standards across various sectors including commercial, defence, transport, health, and more.
* Deliver high-quality engineering design and documentation, streamlining project delivery and cost savings for clients.
* Lead small to medium-sized projects and support larger initiatives, maintaining strong relationships with clients, authorities, and internal teams.
* Mentor junior engineers, contributing to the strategic growth of the team through guidance and expertise.
About You
* Hold a Bachelor of Engineering Mechanical or equivalent industry experience.
* Minimum 6 years of experience in fire protection engineering within Australian building services.
* Strong knowledge of relevant Standards and Codes AS/NZS NCC etc.
* Experience with BIM NavisWorks and Revit MEP is highly desirable.
* Consulting engineering background preferred, but D C contracting experience also considered.
* Passion for leadership and desire to grow into a team lead role.
