About the Opportunity
Campbelltown & Camden Hospitals are seeking temporary Level 1/2 Physiotherapists. An eligibility list will be created to fill other temporary vacancies that arise in the near future through this recruitment.
These roles will form part of our rotational Level 1/2 positions with rotations in all major clinical areas including: orthopaedics, rehabilitation, paediatrics, cardiorespiratory, acute aged care, neurology, community, musculoskeletal outpatients, and others.

As part of your position, you may work across Campbelltown and Camden Hospitals as you rotate. Campbelltown Hospital is our acute site and Camden Hospital is our subacute/rehabilitation site. Camden hospital is located nearby and conveniently accessible from the M5 >Narellan Rd, with easy parking available.
All Level 1/2 positions participate in our weekend physiotherapy service. You have options to nominate your preferred days and unavailability as part of the roster. Most Level 1/2 staff work on average 1 to 2 weekend day shifts per month, and benefit from penalty rates and a day off during the week as time-in-lieu. We have senior support available on weekend shifts and will work with you to ensure you are prepared and comfortable prior to commencing weekend shifts.
What You'll be Doing
To provide professional and high quality physiotherapy services to patients in SWSLHD. This includes clinical duties (assessment, treatment and education) and participation in professional development, clinical supervision and other relevant departmental activities and administrative duties.

Campbelltown and Camden Hospitals, part of the South Western Sydney Local Health District, work together to provide comprehensive healthcare services to the Macarthur region.
Campbelltown Hospital, a leading tertiary facility, offers a wide range of services including cardiology, maternity, palliative care, respiratory medicine, emergency medicine, and aged-care services. It also features specialised Mental Health and Cancer facilities. Camden Hospital complements these services by specialising in care for older persons with acute or chronic health conditions, including rehabilitation, palliative care, geriatric evaluation and management, and psychogeriatric care.
The hospitals share a close-knit, community-focused team dedicated to delivering safe, quality, and compassionate care. The ongoing multi-million dollar redevelopment at Campbelltown Hospital will further enhance its capabilities, introducing advanced equipment and amenities.
Together, these sister hospitals ensure that the diverse needs of the community are met with excellence and innovation in healthcare.

* Current Physiotherapy Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
* Demonstrated broad range of physiotherapy clinical skills and experience relevant to a hospital setting.
* Demonstrated commitment to professional development and the application of evidence-based practice.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team demonstrating effective communication and time management skills.
* Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
