About the Role:
As the Maintenance & Cleaning Coordinator at Southern Cross University Campus (Lismore), you oversee our facilities to ensure they are safe, clean, and well‐maintained for residents. Working closely with the General Manager, you'll also support inspections, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to creating a positive living experience for residents.
At a glance, you will:
* Carry out general repairs (plumbing, carpentry, painting).
* Maintain gardens and common areas to a high standard.
* Oversee the cleaning and upkeep of shared facilities (kitchens, BBQs, laundries).
* Coordinate scheduled maintenance and manage spare parts.
* Support inspections and liaising with contractors when required.
About You:
To be successful in this role, we are on the lookout for:
* Unrestricted working rights in Australia
* Safety first mindset and understanding of basic OH&S principles & chemical handling.
* Prior experience in a similar role in the hospitality / property management sector
* Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively
* Strong communication skills – both written and verbal
