What you'll do

* Fulfil the responsibilities of this role in accordance with QPS values as outlined above
* Follow defined service quality standards, occupational health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken in order to ensure high quality, safe services and workplaces
* Work collaboratively with the branch executive team, and the Digital Health branch office team to develop, maintain and implement improvements to governance and reporting processes and ensuring conformance with business timelines and due dates.
* Collate reports for the executives and line managers regarding the operational performance data for their business unit
* Coordinate staff responses to cyclic reporting requests, submissions, presentations, and regular information requests by providing support and guidance as required, in line with department policies and frameworks, and within required timeframes and deadlines.
* Provide executive support to members of the branch leadership team, which may include diary, email and correspondence management
* Coordinate and support branch cultural improvement activities to assist in the achievement of branch and organisational objectives.
* Provide an effective secretariat function to management and statewide governance committee meetings that are chaired by members of the branch leadership team to ensure matters are discussed, actioned and managed appropriately.
* Organisation and coordination of the administrative support function for the Digital Health Branch by providing essential goods and services as required.
* Work under limited supervision, using a high level of initiative to resolve issues
* Support the branch leadership team to achieve portfolio responsibilities, ensuring ad hoc projects and deliverables are completed as required.

About you

* Demonstrated ability to support the administrative functioning of a large scale office
* Advanced skills in a range of systems, including office packages (e.g. Word/Excel) and email systems
* High level written communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to liaise with a wide variety of clientele, such as senior executives, managers and staff at all levels on a range of branch issues
* Knowledge of or ability to acquire knowledge and commitment to Queensland Health's core values of caring for people, leadership, respect and integrity
* Ability to work under minimal direction and to manage competing priorities in order to meet
