Business Development Representative (BDR)

As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you'll be a key part of bringing our mission of helping businesses own their growth to life by introducing eCommerce brands to the Klaviyo platform and setting the foundation for long‐term success.

How You'll Make An Impact

* Generate qualified opportunities for the sales team (Account Executives) through a rigorous qualification approach.
* Build prospective relationships with e‐commerce brands and help them understand how Klaviyo can drive their growth.
* Identify buyer needs, position Klaviyo's value, and route leads appropriately to Account Executives.
* Stay organized, focused, and consistent in outreach across multiple channels—calls, emails, and social.
* Demonstrate grit and resilience by staying positive and motivated, even in the face of rejection. Reflect Klaviyo's core values of accountability, effort, and winning in every interaction. Share insights, contribute to a supportive team culture, and help improve our processes as we scale.
* Transform workflows by putting AI at the center, building smarter systems and ways of working from the ground up.

Who You Are

* Driven by a strong desire to launch a career in tech sales, with ambitions to grow into roles like Account Executive.
* Possess grit, resilience, and curiosity—you bounce back quickly and always want to learn more. Thrive in fast‐paced, dynamic environments with high standards and clear goals.
* Strong communicator confident over the phone, clear in writing, and thoughtful in your approach.
* Self‐motivated, coachable, and energized by being part of a high‐performing team.
* Have already experimented with AI in work or personal projects, and you're excited to dive in and learn fast. Hungry to responsibly explore new AI tools and workflows, finding ways to make your work smarter and more efficient.
* Have valid authorization to work in Australia.

Base Pay Range

Base salary: $70,000—$70,000 AUD.

Benefits

Salary may include participation in the company's annual cash bonus plan, variable compensation, equity, sign‐on payments, and a comprehensive range of health, welfare, and wellbeing benefits based on eligibility. Travel may be required up to 10% for onboarding, client or partner work, team meetings, and industry events.
