Job Title: Procurement Manager
Are you a strategic procurement leader seeking a challenging role in a fast-paced project environment? We have an exciting opportunity for a mid-senior level procurement manager to join our team and lead end-to-end procurement activities, ensuring compliance with Downer frameworks and relevant legislation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead planning, sourcing, contracting, and supplier management activities across multiple infrastructure projects.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to drive best-for-project outcomes.
* Proactively identify and mitigate procurement-related risks.
* Support the development of your team while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Requirements:
* A tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, Law, Quantity Surveying, or similar.
* 5+ years of experience in procurement, contracts, or project management within construction, utilities, or infrastructure.
* Strong commercial acumen and experience in supplier engagement, tendering, and contract negotiation.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* A proactive, solution-focused mindset with a drive for continuous improvement.
