About the Role
Based at Wallaroo, a beachside location on the Yorke Peninsula, you will oversee a multi‐disciplinary team across allied health clinical services, inpatient and ambulatory rehabilitation and transition care programs. The Rehabilitation Service was established from significant community and clinician engagement and has received recognition and awards since commencing in March 2023.
Responsibilities
* Lead a multi‐disciplinary team across allied health clinical services, inpatient and ambulatory rehabilitation and transition care programs.
* Deliver high‐quality clinical care while leading operational and professional aspects of the service.
* Drive service improvements and research opportunities that enhance safety, quality and responsiveness to community needs.
* Collaborate with allied health teams, managers and stakeholders on workforce development and model‐of‐care initiatives.
* Support staffing, recruitment, HR, finance, patient flow, resource management, accreditation, risk and information systems.
* Foster a positive, safe work culture that supports excellent patient and client outcomes.
* As part of the leadership team, contribute to the management of Community Health Services across the YNLHN.
Qualifications
* Must hold a recognised qualification within the relevant allied health profession and be eligible for (full) membership of the relevant allied health profession.
* Apply specialist expertise to deliver complex clinical and consultancy services.
