We're seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our Slade Pharmacy team at Buderim Private Hospital on a permanent, part‐time basis. About the Role
Hospital Pharmacy is a dynamic, fast‐paced environment where precision and collaboration are key. As a Pharmacy Technician at Slade Pharmacy Buderim, you'll work alongside Pharmacists, Nurses, and other healthcare professionals to help maintain smooth pharmacy operations that support multidisciplinary care.
Key responsibilities
* Providing high‐quality pharmacy services to hospital staff, patients, and customers
* Dispensing and supplying medications for hospital and cancer patients
* Assisting with imprest and pharmacy inventory management
* Delivering and collecting medications to and from hospital wards
* Entering patient‐specific data into the pharmacy database
* Assisting with patient account enquiries and resolving issues
* Liaising with hospital staff and associated personnel
* Supporting the pharmacy team with general administrative tasks
Shift information
* 12.5 hours per fortnight
* Every second Thursday (7:30am–3:30pm) and Saturday (8:00am–1:00pm)
* If desired, opportunities are available to work additional shifts
About You
You're a reliable and motivated Pharmacy Technician currently working in a community or hospital pharmacy. You may be curious about hospital pharmacy or looking to expand your skillset beyond community practice. If you're patient‐focused, organised, and keen to learn, we'd love to hear from you! Previous hospital experience is not essential, and full training and support will be provided.
Essential requirements
* Dispensing experience in an Australian based hospital or community pharmacy
* Be able to address patient needs with confidentiality, sensitivity and professionalism
* Australian working rights, valid for at least 12‐month from date of employment.
Desirable skills and experience
* Dispensary Technician Certificate or equivalent as recognised by the Pharmacy Board of Australia
