* **Employment Term:** Permanent Part-Time (60.8 hours per fortnight)* **Location:** Hervey Bay/Maryborough (travel require between Fraser Coast region - offices located at Hervey Bay and Maryborough including Magistrate Courts)* **Remuneration:** $51 per hour + Super + Penalties & Allowances + NFP Salary Packaging (save tax and increase your take home pay)* **Close Date:** Applications will be reviewed as they are received and therefore may result in the role closing early if the right applicant is found.* A deep understanding of the dynamics of domestic violence and counselling practices* A high degree of experience in client work* Professional epistemological (framework) awareness* Creating a safe and supportive environment where clients can explore the underlying causes of their behaviour, understand the impact of their actions, and develop healthier ways of relating to others* Facilitate behaviour change programs for men who perpetrate domestic violence, promoting accountability and positive change* Provide individual intake/review and group sessions to clients, utilising evidence-based practices* Implement safety planning for clients and their families, ensuring a focus on risk management and the cessation of violence* Networking with the police and criminal justice sector and other agencies and services who work in the field of domestic and family violence.* Provide assistance to men attending Court on Domestic and Family Violence matters* Prepare written and oral reports relating to: + Client matters (eg. Case notes, referrals, case reviews and case closure summaries. + Requests for client information from other involved agencies + Statistical and administrative reports* Maintain client information systems and data* Undertake other duties as required/directed as service needs change or grow, consistent with the above and within the scope of the position and any other legal or industrial obligations* Minimum of a Bachelor degree in Social Science, Counselling, Psychology, or Social Work.* Demonstrated experience in domestic and family violence, with a strong understanding of the dynamics and impacts.* Proven fundamentals in counselling practice, with a high degree of experience in client work.* Epistemological awareness and ability to work within individual frameworks.* Expertise in safety planning and risk assessment.* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and facilitation skills.* Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.* Commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice* A current drivers license* "Working with Children check" (Blue card)**A recognition and rewards platform**, providing employee discounts at hundreds of retailers, including everyday expenses, holidays, health insurance, annual awards celebration, wellbeing and employee assistance programs We're on a mission to make a meaningful difference every day, working with thousands of Australians to ensure they live life in all its fullness.
