**Merchandise Management Opportunity**
Nutrien Ag Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Merchandise Manager to join their team. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for managing sales and inventory of products, including ag chem, fertiliser, and other agricultural merchandise.
Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will collaborate with store management, agronomists, and sales teams to provide support such as stock takes, retail operations improvements, on-farm meetings, technical information, and mentoring to enhance performance.
You will analyze market trends, climatic, and seasonal factors to ensure Nutrien Ag Solutions remains the first choice for rural customers in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage sales and inventory of products.
* Collaborate with store management, agronomists, and sales teams.
* Analyze market trends, climatic, and seasonal factors.
Requirements:
* Strong technical background with experience in a similar role.
* Experience in pricing, margin management, and achieving sales targets through effective category development.
* Ability to network and identify opportunities for business growth.
* Strong interpersonal skills to build long-term relationships.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Experience with SAP ERP and strong MS Excel skills for reporting.
* Current Driver's Licence (Essential).
* Forklift and heavy rigid licence (Desirable).
