Overview

Office-based role in Malvern, full-time. Must have accounting firm experience. TRP $80k–$100k depending on experience.

Join a long-established and highly regarded Chartered Accounting firm located in Malvern. This is a full-time, office-based role suited to an experienced professional who has worked within an accounting firm environment and understands ATO processes, compliance workflows and high-volume administration.

This position offers the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership in a hands-on role supporting client business services and managing end-to-end administrative responsibilities.

The Opportunity

* Manage high-volume client and third-party correspondence
* Liaise directly with the ATO via the ATO Portal
* Collate financial statements and taxation returns for submission
* Manage notices of assessment and compliance documentation
* Assist with monthly billing procedures and end-of-month reporting
* Maintain client databases and internal systems
* Work with DocuSign and electronic document management systems
* Provide diary management and administrative support to Directors
* Coordinate meetings, events and internal communications
* Support relief reception and general office administration

About You

* Minimum 5+ years' experience within an accounting firm (essential)
* Strong understanding of ATO processes and compliance requirements
* Experience using MYOB Accountants Enterprise (highly advantageous)
* XERO experience beneficial
* Familiar with ASIC and ATO forms and portal requirements
* Confident managing multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
* High level of professionalism and discretion
* Exceptional attention to detail
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Comfortable working autonomously and taking ownership

Salary

* TRP: $80,000 – $100,000 inclusive of super

Casual Loading

Please note for all Australian based contract and temporary roles only, the pay rate is inclusive of mandatory 25% casual loading. This excludes permanent and fixed term roles.
