Expert Geriatrician Required
We are seeking an experienced Consultant Geriatrician to lead the development of aged care services in South Australia. This is a unique opportunity for a skilled professional to shape the future of healthcare and make a meaningful impact.
Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in geriatric medicine, with expertise in geriatric evaluation and management, geriatric rehabilitation, and older persons health service. They will also possess excellent clinical skills, a person-centred approach, and a collaborative mindset.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative solutions to improve the delivery of aged care services. They will work closely with our team to design and implement new programs, services, and initiatives that meet the needs of our patients and stakeholders.
* Geriatric Evaluation & Management (GEM)
* Geriatric Rehabilitation Unit
* Older Persons Health Service (community)
* Geriatric Emergency Department Intervention
* Acute Care of Older People
* Consult Liaison & Care Awaiting Placement
* Outpatients & Rural Clinics
Requirements:
* MBBS (or equivalent) and eligibility for Specialist Registration with AHPRA
* Fellowship in Geriatric Medicine (FRACP or recognised equivalent)
* Strong clinical skills with a person-centred integrated care approach
* A collaborative mindset and desire to innovate in aged-care delivery
