About the Role:
Curtin University has multiple continuing opportunities for Delivery Support Officers to join us in a full-time (1.0 FTE) or part-time (minimum 0.4 FTE) role.
The Delivery Support Officer provides technical support for the Faculty of Health Sciences simulation activities, specifically around the set-up of clinical skills learning environments.
Working across both the Bentley and Midland campuses, you will be responsible for the timely setup and pack down of the consumables and technology necessary for teaching delivery in the Faculty of Health Sciences simulated learning environments across all disciplines.
A key component of this role will be liaising with academic staff, and clear communication with students while ensuring compliance with all health and safety requirements.
A candidate with a background knowledge of health sciences is advantageous.
Selection Criteria:
Completion of a diploma qualification with relevant work experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
Demonstrated experience in the provision of administrative support and the ability to apply skills to a varied range of different tasks.
Demonstrated interpersonal skills with an ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently with general direction.
Demonstrated oral communication skills with the ability to liaise with a diverse range of people in a clear and professional manner, with cross-cultural sensitivity.
Demonstrated ability to organise time and work activities according to priorities and to meet deadlines.
Demonstrated computer literacy with skills in a wide range of applications including word processing and/or spreadsheet packages.
Role Requirements:
As this is a continuing (permanent) role, you will require permanent work rights in Australia to be considered.
Successful applicants are subject to a National Police Clearance, and background, integrity, and reference checks to Curtin's satisfaction.
A level of fitness commensurate with the position.
