Mission System Manager
Location: Exmouth, Western Australia.
Reporting to the Program Manager, the Mission System Manager leads a large, diverse team of trade and technical professionals supporting critical mission systems and services at the HEH Naval Communication Station. The role involves team performance, KPI management, customer liaison, scheduling, solution development, and project management to satisfy contractual or internal requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and collaborate within a cross‐functional environment to manage budget, resources, and reporting to ensure effective execution of maintenance activities.
* Ensure Quality & EH&S standards are built and maintained in alignment with company policies.
* Plan, schedule, and manage maintenance requirements and requests in accordance with program priorities.
* Monitor and control maintenance activities to ensure completion within budget, schedule, and required quality outcomes.
* Practice excellent stakeholder management to maintain effective relationships.
* Act in accordance with company expectations relating to professional workplace behaviour.
Skills, Experience, and Qualifications
* Demonstrated experience keeping teams safe and leading with safety as a core value.
* Experience supervising a team of various trade and technical professionals.
* Experience managing maintenance in a systematic way to maximise asset performance.
* Exposure to Engineering Change Management processes.
* Diploma in Information Technology, Telecommunications, Electronics, or Engineering (related discipline) and Diploma in Leadership & Management or equivalent.
* On‐the‐job experience improving processes to deliver results for customers and teams.
* Eligibility to obtain and maintain a Negative Vetting Level1 Security Clearance.
