We are expanding our commercial team and are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Transport Sales Manager to help drive growth and strengthen our market presence.
Role Overview
The Transport Sales Manager will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing key client relationships, and delivering revenue targets across our transport services. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong industry knowledge and proven sales leadership.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities within the transport and logistics sector
* Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and margin goals
* Manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts
* Conduct customer visits, presentations, and contract negotiations
* Analyse sales performance and market trends to identify opportunities for expansion
* Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to ensure high-quality service delivery
* Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for senior management
Requirements
* Proven experience in transport, logistics, freight, or related industry sales
* Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
* Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targetsKnowledge of transport operations and industry regulations
* Ability to work independently and manage a sales pipeline effectively
* Full driving licence and willingness to travel as required
