Senior Business Process Analyst

Ongoing/Permanent grade 9/10 role

Locations are flexible across Revenue NSW offices in Parramatta, Gosford, Maitland, Wollongong and Lithgow

Salary - $129,464 - $142,665 + super

Exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Business Process Analyst within our Strategy and Innovation unit to join our Business Excellence Team within Revenue NSW.

We are looking for someone with a passion for continuous improvement and understand the critical role Business Process Management plays in the organisation. You would be a person with an interest and experience in process modelling and process improvement who can support our Business Excellence team.


Some of the key responsibilities include:
* Identify and implement opportunities to optimise business processes by applying best practices and recommending solutions across people, process, and technology to enhance performance and productivity.
* Lead and support business and process improvement initiatives within an operational environment, leveraging Lean Six Sigma methodologies. Experience as a Lean Six Sigma project lead or Process Improvement Project Leader with a proven record of driving measurable results is highly desirable.
* Drive data-driven decision-making by utilising process mining platforms and analytics to uncover insights and improvement opportunities.
* Analyse existing business processes, systems and other functional requirements and recommend improvements to enhance business operations and performance.
* Conduct business process maturity assessments and lead initiatives to uplift process capability, maturity, and performance across the organisation.
* Play a key role in embedding effective Business Process Management (BPM) practices across Revenue NSW to build a sustainable culture of process excellence.
* Design and deliver training, coaching, and enablement programs to build process improvement capability across teams, empowering staff to adopt BPM principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
* Collaborate in an agile, high-performing team environment to design, deliver, and support transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
* Proven experience in business and process improvement within an operational setting, applying best practices to deliver measurable performance improvements.
* Strong understanding of Lean Six Sigma methodologies; certification in Lean Six Sigma or an equivalent globally recognized process improvement methodology is desirable.
* Ability to analyse, assess, and redesign business processes and systems to enhance business operations.
* Experience conducting process maturity assessments and implementing initiatives to improve organisational capability.
* Experience developing and delivering training, coaching, and capability uplift programs that support continuous improvement adoption.
* A customer-focused mindset, with the ability to resolve complex business issues and drive improvements that enhance service delivery and customer experience.
