We are looking for a T Repairs Technician based in Melbourne. This role reports to the T Repairs Project Manager.
About You
Performs all Field Operations (T repairs) for the Melbourne area in accordance with the performance objectives and the authority delegated by the Service Manager T Repairs
Key Responsibilities
1. Ensures that all chargeable works allocated within your area of responsibility are carried out efficiently, safely, and in accordance with our quality systems.
2. Undertakes an active role in assisting the selling of goods and services of Otis Elevator Company Pty Limited, coordinating with the Service Sales departments in Melbourne.
3. Maintains a service for Otis equipment in their area, providing prompt attention to reported problems.
4. Develops relationships with other contractors to assist in meeting business goals.
5. Maintains company tools, equipment, and materials in good order and safeguards against missing and damaged goods.
6. Maintain and adhere to the Quality System, including procedures and manuals. Identify process improvement opportunities and help facilitate continuous improvement to satisfy your processes' customers.
7. Work together with the VIC Branch Manager in the absence of the Service Manager T Repairs.
8. Maintain cordial relationships with customers, suppliers, government and regulatory bodies, industry associations, and the public in the Melbourne area.
9. Responsible for complying with company Environmental Health and Safety policies and procedures, including reporting any conditions that may impact the environment or any employee.
What you will need to be successful
10. Trade qualifications as an Electrical Fitter/Mechanic with additional studies in Electronics.
11. A minimum of two years of proven successful experience in elevator maintenance/repairs.
12. Self-motivated and able to operate with minimal supervision.
13. Holds a current electrical license
14. Good written and verbal and communication skills and the
15. Ability to deal with and influence customers and colleagues/peers.
