This project is not a one off. It is the first step in a strategic and sustained growth plan across the region.
We are now seeking a high-calibre Contract Manager to join the project team in Maroochydore.
The Opportunity Reporting to the Project Manager, you will take ownership of administering large-scale contracts with minimal supervision, driving commercial performance and mentoring junior team members.
This is more than a traditional CA role, it is a senior commercial manager position within a high performing project team.
Key Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
Senior Level Contract Leadership
* Administer large-scale contracts independently
* Assist in establishing project strategy to maximise profitability
* Mentor and support Contracts Administrators
* Improve existing contract administration systems and processes
* Lead procurement and negotiations to drive commercial outcomes
* Provide strategic input to senior management on resourcing and supply chain performance
Commercial & Financial Management
* Establish and maintain project cost reports (Jobpac)
* Prepare and manage head contract claims, variations and EOTs
* Oversee subcontract administration, payment schedules and compliance
* Prepare monthly cost and project control reports
* Develop and manage project cashflow forecasts
* Monitor expenditure and financial risk
Procurement Leadership
* Develop and manage procurement programmes aligned to construction sequencing
* Prepare and negotiate trade packages and scopes
* Conduct tender comparisons and post-tender interviews
* Ensure subcontractor compliance with Lords Group protocols
* Negotiate pricing, terms and conditions
Risk, HSEQ & Governance
* Identify and mitigate commercial and contractual risks
* Support and uphold Lords' integrated HSEQ systems
* Manage defects, compliance documentation and authority coordination
* Act as company representative on contract matters
About You
* Minimum 3+ years' experience as a Senior Contracts Administrator within a head contractor environment
* Strong understanding of Australian Standard contracts
* Excellent commercial and financial acumen
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail
* Confident communicator with the ability to build strong relationships
* Analytical thinker with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
